Leah & Justin | 08.17.19
With a strong chance of rain coming our way on Saturday, Leah & I had been in contact trying to come up with a game plan. Me, being in denial that the rain was actually coming, and her slightly worried about the outcome, had to make a game time decision. She called me Saturday morning, her calm, collected voice over my cell phone while she was getting her hair done. Leah politely asking if we could move things earlier so we could get all of the photos done before the ceremony. YES OF COURSE, I said. You can’t control the weather and it’s hard not to worry about it. But you can be flexible and understanding that we will make it work.
Without the rain there would be no rainbow. And that’s exactly what happened during Leah & Justin’s wedding day. The storm held off until after cocktail hour and cleared just in time for sunset and a beautiful rainbow. They say it’s good luck for there to be rain on your wedding day, it was truly meant to be.
These two college sweethearts tied the knot at The Whitcomb House and I am so thankful for the opportunity to capture their wedding day. Congratulations you two! I wish you nothing but the best for your future.
xo, Danielle
